Yes, all Auping mattresses in the current product range are suitable for an adjustable bed base. To make sure that the mattress does not slide, you can connect the mattress to the mesh base with mattress connectors. These are handy clips that can be clipped at each desired spot of the spiral mesh. Our box springs are made standard with Velcro on the topside, so that the mattress does not move.
You are of course free to combine an Auping mattress with a non-Auping bed base. But an Auping mattress and base are specifically matched to each other, will allow the three elements that are important for a good night's rest (ventilation, support, and pressure reduction) to perform in the best possible way. This will guarantee a fresh and comfortable sleep.

Auping mattresses that have been sold since 2012 no longer have to be turned over. The mattresses are built asymmetrically and consist of several heights (you will sink a bit deeper at your shoulders and hips). Mattresses made before 2012 can be turned if the topside remains the same, i.e. does not become the foot end.
If you still have the instructions of your Auping bed, then you look for the name of the model in there. If you no longer have it, you can find a complete overview of the current product range of beds and box springs.
The body needs one to a few weeks to get used to a new mattress. You will also find a new mattress to be firmer in the beginning.
Should you not be satisfied after a few weeks with the mattress(es), then you can claim the Auping trade in guarantee. This allows you to trade in the mattress(es) at no charge within 30 days.

Auping advises to change a mattress after eight to a maximum of ten years. A mattress will eventually loose its firmness and it will no longer be comfortable. The life span of a mattress is determined by its composition and use.
Auping mattresses are made of moisture regulating materials that will wick away the moisture you loose at night and removes it. Also the type of mesh base is important to the life span of your mattress; a mesh base is 80% open and therefore offers very good ventilation.
You yourself can contribute to the life span of a mattress by ensuring good ventilation of the bedroom and bed. Leave the bedroom window open during the day and slightly open at night so that moisture from perspiration can evaporate naturally.
There are different reasons for purchasing a top mattress. There are different reasons to purchase a top mattress. For example with a box spring with upholstered mattresses or because you want to get rid of the annoying seam between two mattresses. Whatever the reason, with an Auping top mattress you are buying that little extra comfort. And because of the special top mattress cover sheet, the bed is made very easily.
You can regularly dust off a wooden edge, mesh base and metal frame of the box spring with a soft cloth.
Is it stained? Don't worry. You can remove a stain in no time with a cloth moist with biological cleaner. Never use a scourer or abrasive!
Because of Auping's care for the environment, the product has been powder coated. In the first weeks after you've made your purchase, it is possible that some lacquer material will fall under the bed. This is harmless and can be removed easily.
The bed is strong. But... Scratches can never be fully prevented. Luckily it is possible to make small scratches disappear almost completely with a special lacquer pen. The lacquer pens can be ordered via the Auping store.
When cleaning the box spring, try to avoid water. Do not beat out or vacuum the box spring, but clean it with a soft brush.
Provide optimal ventilation. Do not to use a mattress cover between the mattress and box spring.
Shake your duvet rapidly, this way the duvet will stay fresh and voluminous.
Synthetic duvets are machine washable on maximum 60°C. Down duvets should be cleaned by a specialized dry cleaner's or a launderette. Always follow the washing guidelines on the label of the duvet.
You only have to clean the duvet when it's absolutely necessary. With normal use, 4 or 5 times per year will suffice.
If the duvet is stained, you can remove them usually easily. Consult the stain guide for more information.
We recommend to wash the duvet covers and fitted sheets weekly and molletons once per month. Always follow the washing guidelines on the label of the duvet cover.
If you have an adjustable bed, you can put it a bit higher. Then you don't have to bend over while cleaning the bed. to bend over while cleaning!
Mattresses always become a bit moist because of perspiration during sleep. It is therefore advisable that you fold the duvet double over the foot end. The mattress and underside of the bed, which have the most contact with the body, can dry well this way.
Check the mattress regularly for wear or damage. Contact the Auping store immediately if you find any damage.
If the mattress is stained, you can remove the stain easily. Consult our stain guide for more information When cleaning the mattress, put it on its side and use the least amount of water. Do not use bleach or other caustic substances and let the mattress dry well after cleaning.
The mattress has a mattress cover around it. A number of Auping mattresses has a removable mattress cover. Auping suggests you clean it annually. The 'cool' mattress cover (of knitted fabric) is machine washable, the 'warm' mattress cover (of velvet) must be cleaned chemically.
Shake the pillow daily and air it now and then (not in full sun), this way it will stay fresh and voluminous.
Synthetic pillows can be washed in the washing machine at a maximum of 60°C.
Down pillows are machine washable but only do this when absolutely necessary. It is important that you use detergent for wool (alkali free) so the down filling isn't damaged. Always follow the washing guidelines on the label of the pillow.
The current version does not work with 5G Wifi. Auping explores the possibilities for this at the moment.
The Auping Connect app can easily be installed at multiple devices. Just download the app at another smart phone or tablet. Make sure this device is connected to the same Wifi network as Auping Connect. Open the app. The app will find the installed Auping Connect and ask for an authorization code. The person who has first installed Auping Connect can find this code at: settings --> Share. Fill in this code and Auping Connect is ready to use.
There is a button at the backside of the Auping Connect hub, by pushing this button the Auping Connect hub will be re-set and can be re-installed. The latest software version will remain on the Auping Connect hub.

No, Auping Connect communicates via Wifi, so you cannot use Auping Connect when your mobile device is in airplane mode. However, it is possible to set the alarm clock and the activate airplane mode. The build-in timer enables the alarm clock to remain active, even is the Wifi connection is interrupted.
Auping Connect works with all electronical adjustable Auping mesh bases that have been produced later then 2014, including the Royal mesh bases.
For box springs: all Criade box springs that are produced later than 2014 and the new Original and Kiruna box spring from 2017 and later.

For mattresses and top mattresses it is stipulated that after 1 year of use a height loss (lying area formation) up to 1.5 cm is normal and this height loss does not fall within the warranty. After 5 years of use local height loss of up to 2.0 cm is normal. This means that complaints with lying area formation smaller than these sizes do not fall within the warranty.
Auping offers two 2 years warranty on show room models, effective from the date on the invoice. Extending the warranty for show room models is not possible.

It is possible to have your old mattress collected when the new Auping mattress(es) is delivered by the Auping dealer. Auping created, with regard to sustainability, the Auping Take Back System (ATBS). In cooperation with the Van Gansewinkel Group the mattress will be disassembled and recycled. You don't have to make any effort to take your old mattress to a waste centre. There are some costs related to this, the Auping dealer can tell you more about this.

The chart illustrates the various stages of your sleep (light and deep sleep) and your sleep cycles. Even though you don’t really notice it, how deep you sleep varies all night long. You start out in a light sleep (a high peak on the chart), followed by deep sleep (low line on the chart), after which you return to a light sleep. This is called a sleep cycle. This chart is based on your movements during your sleep. The movements show up on the chart where the line becomes more erratic (instead of linear). This indicates that you shifted during your sleep. On average, people roll over about 30 times in their sleep. Moving in your sleep is very important as it promotes physical recovery. If you roll over less than 10 times a night, this could mean that your current mattress does not sufficiently promote rolling over. Or your phone may not have been in the right place and did not measure your movements properly. Moving more than 50 times a night may indicate that you had a bad night, which was possibly caused by a mattress that did not offer the right level of support.

Private information is never saved. This information is used once to set up your personal sleep profile. If you choose to submit your information in the app anonymously, then we will also use this information for sleep analyses. A unique code gives the dealer 24 hours to access the information that you share with that dealer. The access expires automatically after 24 hours.
No information is shared that could be traced back to a person or computer. The shared information includes height, weight, shoulder width, width of your waist, width of your hips, sleep preferences and sleep data.
This is a combination of the time at which you went to bed, how many hours you slept, how late it was, how long it took you to fall asleep, and your personal evaluation. All of these indicators come together to create a percentage for your quality of sleep that night.
Movement and noise levels are both used to recognise sleeping patterns. The noise measurements are used by the app to more accurately determine if the user is awake or not. The audio recorder monitors the noise levels, but does not record any sounds or conversations. You can take a picture of yourself lying on your current mattress using the photo tool. This shows how well your current mattress is supporting your spine. The tool then automatically creates an illustration of your photo. No one will ever see the real photo. Sound recordings and photos are never stored or shared with other systems.

Mix a teaspoon of fine detergent and a teaspoon of vinegar with 1/2 litre of lukewarm water (with tea you can also add a teaspoon of lemon juice). Soak a cloth in the mixture and dab the stain away.
Dab the stain for some time with cold water.
Treat the stain for an extended time with warm water or sprinkle salt on the stain and let it work in for some time. Remove afterwards with warm water.
Dab the stain away with biological liquid detergent.
Dab the stain away with cotton wool, drenched in pure alcohol or methylated spirit.
First carefully scrape the liquorice from the textile. Then dab the stain away with a cloth soaked in water and ammonia. If necessary, treat the stain with water and a clean cloth.
Put salt on the stain and let it work in for some time. Remove the stain with lukewarm water or mix a teaspoon of fine detergent and a teaspoon of vinegar with 1/2 litre of lukewarm water. Soak a cloth in the mixture and dab the stain away.
Dab as much liquid away as possible. Then treat the stain with cold water. After this, clean with a biological liquid detergent.
